Week3: Day 4

Here is a leg workout my personal trainer roommate aka trx guru at lifetime wrote out
 Leg Workout:
Suspended single leg burpees  2 x 10 each leg
Power single leg squat to balance lunge (I need to record this one for you) 2 x 10 each leg
TRX leg extensions 2 x 10 each leg
Hamstring circuit:
      Hip press   1x 15 per leg
      Hamstring curls 1 x 15 per leg
      Bike 1x 15 per leg
Lying leg abduction
Side bends - 1 minute
Back Extensions - 1 minute
anti-rotation - 10 each side
Pike/crunch/pendulum - 10,10,10

DO IT! Its pretty hoss.


Let me explain how hard this week of TRX has been. I would say worse than watching my spurs lose 2 straight. Monday - Workout 1 moved up to 15 single leg lunges, and squats. Tuesday - Workout 2....20 elevated rows..are you fucking shitting me. Damnit that was tough. If you don't have a TRX yet get one. Week 3 must be hump week because the increases are ridiculous. You have to remember that in weeks 1&2 it called for 1 set only, and we had been doing 2 sets...because we are men. Same thing here only 1 set but they increased the rep load...so we are doing 2 sets, and I think that it really is biting us back in the ball sack.  The runs we have doing arent helping. Yesterday was a well deserved break day for me. Today the lunges, squats, and hamstring curls killed. I have to admit that the high bicep curls are one of the best bicep exercises I have EVER done. (Look these exercises for TRX up on youtube)

Other than that no one believes that all I am using is the TRX. It feels good to have such great results. Really TRX is all you need, I am not taking any supplements, just the healthy batchelor diet of chicken, canned tuna, tortillas and onion. My next set of pics are going to be beef...BIG BEEF BABY.
