Pon de Replay bitch...my legs hurt

Today was workout 1, if you have read the previous posts you know that it is Legs day. We sprinted 7 hills at medical park, then did our TRX workout. it was pretty intense. We also had a few dance battles which was very successful.

Check out the websites on the right of the blog for some good article. I have been lazy on posting up, but take some  initiative and do it yourself, LOL. After the new years passes I will be more consistent. Other than that stats go up sunday. Happy New year everyone if I don't get to post tomorrow! :)

So I bought XBOX kinect with dance central...no homo..its is a fun/tiring/great game. We played it for about 4 hours straight and I wish i had my equip on to see how many calories I burned.

Week2:Day 2 aka LAKERS SUCK DICK

Workout 2 - Upper body

head, shoulders, traps, and chest...ha, All i have to say is that this workout even at week 1&2 is ridiculously difficult, especially the back stuff. The high back row is probably the hardest part, mainly because of the angle.  Other than that spurs beat that laker ass, DeJuan Blair is my new hero, and its raining outside.

Week2:Day 1

2 mile run
TRX: Workout 1 - suspended lunges, squats, some hamstring stuff, bi/triceps, and core
1 mile run

Using my roommates expensive technology we burned about 1100 Calories in 40 minutes.
Thats right, with TRX/running  no more than 40 minutes of nonstop, no bullshit work you can burn an entire meal off. I do not think that I can fully explain the difficulty of the TRX workout, and the expectations that are put on ur body. Your body will force itself to adapt, after 1 week mine has. This workout sucks dick. I know it does, I know that it will continue to suck for another few weeks. That is the difference between you and I. I go straight into the shit, while you stay back and watch. GET BIG!

End of week 1 - here are the results

first off let me say that it was christmas, we ate a lot, drank a lot, we did all the workouts but diet did not help at all...that being said here it is after 1 week.


(My roommate) - Height - 75 inches                            (me) - Height - 73 inches      
                           Weight- 230.8 pounds                               Weight - 206.4 pounds
                            BMI -29.3                                                BMI -  28.1
                            % fat - 23.3                                              % fat - 14.5

So I went up in everything... :( , my room mate went up in weight, down in fat %...so thats good.
But I really expect to see results after weeks 2 & 3, then progress from there. I am tired of being a worthless piece of dirt, being a lazy slob and not being able to dunk a basketball. THE TIME FOR CHANGE IS NOW!!

Week1:Day 6 - MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Where was day 5?!?! Well I was lazy and didnt post it...workout #2..we did it, super sets with pushups, curls, overhead squats...I'm sore
We are supposed to rest this weekend for days 6 & 7..but I will rest when I'm dead.

Merry Christmas as well to all of you, if you are anything like me you just stuffed your face and in about 5 minutes are going to keep eating. I was looking forward to taking 1 week stats tomorrow...LOL. But not really anymore. Oh well

Week1:Day 4

Workout 1..the leg workout where my quads/hamstring are now burned out...I can finally do the side plank twists. Woo. Other than that grat routine, I feel after 4 days my body adapting to it.

lots of great stuff on there. I ate CiCis pizza after my workout..lol carbo load right...anyways I remember now why I avoid buffets...because 90% of the people there are obese. Like I dont know if these people eat fast food everyday or what....I'm talking all this crap right. Eh. Anyways pics sunday. Week 1 is almost over.


P.S...I just watched the TRX MMA workout with Brandon Vera....DAMN...thats my future goal after i finish force.

DAY 2 REVIEW - we started with hill sprints....and went into an intense upper body workout that killed traps, chest, back and shoulders. I feel pretty sore, but it feels good to be finally start getting in shape.

Day 1 complete

Working out sucks dick. All I have to say is that after Day 1 I am incredibly sore. Day 1 consisted of workout 1 of the Force training manual, and it said no cardio...I should have listend to the no cardio part because I ran two miles before I did the TRX workout, and the work out started with an intense quad and hamstring workout.

This workout consisted of 1 legged squats, lunges, sprinter's start, hamstring curls, hip thrusts, bicep and tricep exercise, and CORE. MAYNE.

I feel like someone beat my legs with a bat....but things should get better..If you want to know my diet I ate toast/eggs for brkfst, a burger for lunch, post-workout protein shake, and for dinner I had asian beef noodles from HEB...

NFL training with TRX

TRX- Force Training: 12 week program starts tomorrow

My roommate is a personal trainer. He is into TRX suspension training. If you don't know about TRX you don't know SHIT. ha jk, but more or less it is suspension training that uses your own body weight and gravity to give you a major workout. Here is the website, I recommend you checking it out http://www.fitnessanywhere.com I have used it before, and he uses it all the time to train. But lets cut the bullshit, I am going to start the TRX - Force training 12 week program and post my results. I will also be posting info and articles I find about TRX, etc because I believe that it is the future of personal and elite fitness. If you want to know more about TRX use youtube or google it.
